Hey, I'm Taiyo.

I'm a UK-based student photographer. I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan. Currently enrolled in the department of Photography at University of the West of England Bristol.  ​I began my photographic journey at the age of 12, when my father gave me a digital SLR camera as a birthday gift. As an aviation enthusiast, I have been repeatedly visiting Tokyo international airport (Haneda) since I was 10. The photos I took during my countless hours of visiting the airport were highly evaluated and won photo contests 3 years in a row. I engage with photography in order to take photographs that move people's emotions.​
